Taken down the drain

How many times have you ever listened to some “fast-food thoughts”, as I like to call them, and gobbled them up in one bite? More than any of us would care to admit it, probably. Daily, our senses are attacked by pre-made ideas of economic, political, and social order, designed to subvert and dominate our minds.

That is the game: mind control. To dominate public opinion. Politicians and corporations do it every day. It is their food, their livelihood, their reason for being. They dwell on media training. To gather more and more people to help support their twisted and sick objectives, without letting them even notice. Conscientiously, anyway.

Companies strive to deceive our minds into buying their products, most of the time things we usually don’t need, to increase their profits. Naturally, they talk wonders about the merchandise and its benefits. Of course, most of the products used by people every day have their uses, improving our lives. But we don’t have to buy them in incredible amounts or replace them every time a new one comes around.

Political ideas are another attempt at controlling us. Maybe the most insidious. Technically, the candidates are supposed to represent the voters’ wishes and opinions, but the great majority follows their own beliefs and interests, paying no attention to society’s needs, or the needs of the people. Sometimes, it is necessary to go to the streets and make some noise, so that the people “in charge” don’t forget who is the boss.

We must make up our minds and thoughts, to decide which society is better for us and our descendants. After all, they are our future.
